Suite No. 1 for Solo Cello

Suite No. 1 for solo cello is a composition that pays homage to Bach's solo cello suites while incorporating its own unique musical narrative, reminiscent of a "Hero's Journey."  Drawing inspiration from the baroque dance forms, each movement reflects both the essence of its namesake and represents a significant chapter within this musical odyssey. At the heart of the suite lies a symbolic motif introduced in the first measure of the Praeludium, serving as the foundation upon which each subsequent movement is written.
